1. I found out that my beautiful Brazilian friend, Camila, is an interior designer! Score! She's helping us rearrange our furniture downstairs to better accomodate a sewing area for me and make the downstairs a little more roomy. Here's the mockups. We did most of the rearranging last weekend but still have a few loose ends left. Cool, huh?
2. Acacia's wheat and nature and African safari room. I switched from the purple and orange circus room I was going for. It was too chaotic and I couldn't make it work. The bedding on the twin and her toddler bed is this wheat duvet from Ikea. Still trying to make it all work. May make my own crib bedding now that I have a sewing station. Need something really cool for the wall behind her crib.
3. I finally bit the bullet and asked my friend, Heather, to do a family photo shoot at the beach before baby boy comes. We're doing it Monday evening. I'd like to arrange the photos in something like this; if I can figure out a way to do it cheaper or make it myself. Probably in our bedrrom; not sure. I'm really excited about having great family pics. Thanks, H... you're the bomb.

oooh oooh ooh, I can't wait to see Heather's pics of you guys. :) SO excited! and I LOVE the photo collage thing... I just did something like this on our wall this week... will have to take some photos. Miss you friend!!!!
