We're having a cookie exchange/ playdate over here tomorrow so Acacia and I got to work today on Martha Stewart's Cardamom Spiced Cookies, Shannon-style of course (fresh ground, whole grain flour, substituted sucanat and honey for the sweeteners she called for). I'll get some good pics of all our yummy treats tomorrow and post them so you can all drool and wish you lived in Miami, closer to us!

Thought you may like to see Miss Acacia in her holiday apron cutting snowflake cookies. She was all chatty until I turned the camera on, then she got very focused on the task at hand. She's becoming very detail oriented, um... like her mother?

On a separate note, we just got back from our second and final ultrasound for baby boy and there was total confirmation of his boy-ness. We also found out he's 5 lb. 12 oz already. They say most babies gain about a 1/2 pound a week until due date and I have 5 weeks left. Sounds pretty good to me!
